Recently, I have built an updated website for publisher Hachette, based on their original series of magazines called The Art of Knitting.
Launched at the beginning of February 2011, the new website showcases the magazine and it’s benefits, as well as promoting online subscription through the sidebar visible on every page.
The site has several interactive features listed below:
- Users can submit their own projects which they have knitted, once they have successfully signed up to the website.
- Only registered users can download exclusive patterns and projects.
- Projects are approved and added by the website administrators, requiring no HTML or web skills necessary!
- Many other areas of the website can be changed quickly and easily by the administrator, whilst user registration is automatically handled by the system.
