How to Choose a Domain Name – Video

You can now watch the first Website Surgery session highlights on Design for Digital’s YouTube channel. This month the topic was Choosing the Perfect Domain and Director of Design for Digital, Lawrence Tilley, explained the five key factors which need to be considered; length, location, keywords, what to avoid and how distinctive or memorable it is. Gratefully hosted by The Guild in Bath, Lawrence was joined by several business people from Bath keen to learn about what makes a good domain name. The session begins with a ‘getting to know you’ series of questions, which help to explain some of the common domain name terms, before getting on to the meat of the subject how to choose a domain name.
