Launched on 23rd August 2010, Build the Tiger Tank was designed and developed by myself for the magazine – you may have seen the TV adverts recently.

Website key features:

  • Homepage has three sections of Flash content to engage the user. To aid search engine results, paragraphs of text describe the content and the details of the magazine.
  • Users can preview the magazine by turning the pages of the interactive Flash magazine.
  • Gifts are showcased to entice subscribers.
  • FAQ page provides the user with many useful answers, as well as the ability to ask their own questions via an online form.

The Art of Crochet

Launched on 27th December 2009, The Art of Crochet website was designed and developed by myself for the magazine of the same title.

Not only does the website promote the magazine and encourage users to subscribe online, there are several interactive features:

  • Users can submit their own projects which they have crocheted, once they have successfully signed up to the website.
  • Only registered users can download exclusive patterns and projects.
  • Projects are approved and added by the website administrators, requiring no HTML or web skills necessary!
  • Many other areas of the website can be changed quickly and easily by the administrator, whilst user registration is automatically handled by the system.
